More Chanukah Celebrations: Menorah Lighting

Hebrew schoolLast week we talked about some of the exciting events going on during the week of Chanukah. If choosing to go to one of those events just wasn’t enough and you needed even more to do, make sure you come down for the Grand Menorah Lighting. The lighting will take place on Wednesday, December 21st at 5 pm at the Long Island Jewish Center. If watching this beautiful menorah lighting isn’t enticing enough, perhaps you’ll stay for the crazy comedy show with Kevin Carr. His humor is fun for the whole family with slapstick routines, stilt-walking, juggling, and even magic.

And in case you start to get a little hungry during all the excitement, latkes and doughnuts will be served as well. You can’t pass up free food and laughs! It’s sure to be a fun-filled event and it’s a great way to kick off the festivities happening at the Chai Center. Best of all, the event is free of charge. However, you will have to RSVP so be sure to do that as soon as possible!

Make sure to check TheChaiCenter.com for more exciting events and to sign up for Hebrew school.
